Looks nice. how well does it hold the edge and feel in the hands? Its almost a right of passage for the smith to make a knife out of a railroad spike huh. lol Guessing it is made out of a spike from those much smaller gage tracks like those for hobbie trains?

thank you, holds an edge very well. it fits the hand about as well as a small paring knife. I actually make eating sets with these (knife,fork and spoon) and yes they are from the mini (ride-on) railroads.

Your welcome. Nice. Thanks for the info. I should get around to making a set of eating utensels for camping and such. Hmmm one day when I feel like a brake from all the larger prodgects I supose. ;D
